One of Maharashtra's toughest treks is the one to Bhairavgad Fort. It is something that every experienced trekker has on their bucket list.The Sahyadri mountains of the Indian state of Maharashtra are where the Bhairavgad fort is situated. There are several mountains with the name Bhairavgad, including one close to the Karad-Chiplun region, one close to Malshej Ghat, and a third in the Bhandardara region next to Ghanchakkar, the third highest peak in the Sahyadris. It is located in Maharashtra's Sahyadri range, close to Malshej Ghat. You can easily see the renowned forts of Alang, Madan, Kulang, Harishchandragad, Rohida, Naneghat, Malshej Ghat, and Jivdhan after you reach the top.The walk will take 3 to 4 hours to complete, including stops along the way, and is roughly 5 kilometres long one way.
