ABOUT THE HADSAR FORT HADSAR FORT Hadsar fort established in Junnar, Pune region intended to defend an ancient profitable trade route from Mawal region to Kalyan via Naneghat. There is a marvelous sculpture design of the bastion and the fort entrance, which is not seen elsewhere. They are all carved from a single rock. One of the route goes through the royal entrance, while the other has been made by the villagers by carving steps (Khunti) in the rock. Khunti climbing attracts adventurous trekkers. And this experience is very exciting.
