Nearly 60 kilometres from Bangalore, Savandurga Hill, approximately 1226 meters above sea level, is the largest monolith in Asia. The hill serves as the hiking route to Savandurga Hill and is made up of two granite boulders known as "Karigudda," or the "black hill," and "Biligudda," or the "white hill." The 'Biligudda' route is the better option as 'Karigudda' has several steep inclines and hazardous paths that need permits. At the top of the hill are the remnants of a fort that was formerly a prison. Given its incline, it was also known as the Fort of Death or Savandurga.NOTE: For day Trek, a single group of 12 people is required.Trending Packages: Ramanagara Day Trek | Kunti Betta Day Trek | Anthargange Day Trek | Bheemeshwari Trek
